By changing the location, the starting area of the event in EUROVEA and of course the first kilometers of all tracks are also changing. Check out the new Race, Ride and Family Ride maps.
RACE & RIDE (Sunday 20.8.)
Even before the "official start", we have prepared for you a truly unique drive through the city center. After the start, we will go out via Landererova Street to Apollo Bridge, after a short drive through Einsteinova Street, we will come out to another Bratislava iconic monument, from which you will have probably the most comprehensive and beautiful view to all the most important monuments of Bratislava – SNP Bridge. We will get off the bridge right in front of another Bratislava monument - St. Martin's Cathedral, and next to the newly built Vydrica we will join the embankment road leading to the Riviera, the place of the "official start" of the race. From here, the route is the same as in previous years.
FAMILY RIDE (Saturday, 19.8.)
The non-competitive family "Family ride" offers everyone the chance to participate in L'Etape Slovakia by Tour de France. From the start in Eurovea, we will move through the city center, under the castle hill in the direction of Devínská cesta, we will drive through the village of Devín and also part of Devínská Nová Ves, just like during the Sunday race. The turn will be symbolically under the Freedom Bridge in the DNV, we will return with a view of the Devín Castle and symbolically finish next to the Danube embankment to the finish line in Eurovea. The 32 km long route will have one stop for refreshments, we will go together organized in one peloton. Although we will not be competing, we will definitely ride in a good mood and as a great team. A medal will also be waiting for you at the finish line
KIDS RACE (Saturday, 19.8.)
The children's race has been part of L'Etape Slovakia by Tour de France since the first year. Even the smallest children will be able to try and enjoy riding through the legendary Tour de France gate, they will receive medals like adult competitors, and they will certainly be encouraged in their efforts not only by enthusiastic parents, but also by other spectators. We have prepared one organizational surprise for older children this year, more information in July.
