Social Rides and trainings for L'Etape Slovakia

Together, we drove 8,051 km in preparation during 104 training rides!

The trainings were held in Bratislava in three training groups. The weekend rides were led by L'Etape Slovakia head coach Michal Uličný. In addition, the female cycling community Bratislavské Bohyne met every Tuesday on Tyršák, which organized training sessions and joint rides specially designed for women. On Tuesdays, joint rides and trainings were organized under the brand NAJŠPORT, from where these rides also started.

Other cities that participated in the trainings and thus helped a lot of cyclists were:

• Trnava under the leadership of coach Ivan Kollár
• Nitra, where the trainings were led by trainers Michal and Maťa Hronček
• Martin under the guidance of coach and cyclist Miro Bielický
• Žilina, where the training sessions were led by the still active cyclist and trainer Tomáš Greschner
• Banská Bystrica under the guidance of the still active cyclist and coach Jakub Varhaňovský
• Žiar nad Hronom, where the training was led by Michal Procner
• Spišská Nová Ves - trainings were conducted under the Cycling Mondays community under the guidance of coach Miro Palička and in cooperation with Rades Lukáč from Košice
• and last but definitely not least Košice, where the training was led by coach Rades Lukáč, a former top athlete.

Joint trainings and community rides are very popular and will definitely be held before the next edition of L'Etape Slovakia 2025 too. We will start joint trainings sometime at the end of March, beginning of April - it mainly depends on the current weather. And we believe that we will be able to at least maintain these training rides in the mentioned cities, or even expand them to other locations.
